The Site Safety Plus Scheme provides the Building, Civil Engineering and Allied Industries with a framework for training and career development, for all levels of the workforce.

The Scheme recognises a natural progression, from someone new to the industry through to those responsible for managing  & supervising construction work.
Starting with a health and safety awareness day to prepare for the Health and Safety Test and progressing to an intermediate level for those about to have supervisory responsibilities. There is then an advanced level for those with management director responsibilities.

CPCS

The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) provides skills cards for the plant sector of the Construction and allied industries. It was launched in 2003 and since then over 300,000 cards have been issued across 64 categories of plant and related occupations. The CPCS Technical Review Group working on behalf of industry continually review and amend the Scheme, in light of on-going Industry feedback, and external factors such as the latest occupational health issues, technology advances and new plant types.

NPORS

Founded in 1992, NPORS is one of the, if not the UK’s leading accrediting and registration bodies. Working across numerous sectors.

NPORS are a CSCS partner card scheme. Which is open to operators working in any industry. They are independent of any training board or trade association. The scheme supports the training and testing of lift truck operators, mobile plant operators and users of powered work equipment.

REHIS

The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland, often referred to as REHIS, is an independent, self-financing registered Scottish charity whose main objectives are for the benefit of the community to promote the advancement of Environmental Health.

SQA

SQA are the national accreditation and awarding body for Scotland. Our purpose is to help people fulfil their potential and maintain standards across Scottish education.

We engage with learners, schools, colleges and training providers across Scotland, the rest of the UK and internationally, to develop, maintain, and improve a framework of qualifications, and to set and maintain standards for many other awarding bodies, and accredited qualifications.
