Emergency First Aid at Work

The Emergency First Aid course aims to increase candidates knowledge and understanding of the role of the first aider, how to manage an emergency and how to treat injuries. The course focuses specifically on health and safety regulations and how to interpret these into the workplace.

This one-day course will help you meet your regulatory requirements if your risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only, is sufficient for your workplace

Who should attend?

This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.

  • Managing an emergency
  • Health and safety (first aid) regulations
  • Communication and casualty care
  • Resuscitation (adult CPR)
  • Bleeding (minor and severe)
  • Seizures (adult)
  • Burns
  • Shock
  • Choking (adult)
  • Unconscious casualty
